Tomas Parks has been leading engaging CPE courses for more than fifteen years. He is a seasoned financial leader, educator, and community advocate with extensive experience spanning wealth management, strategic financial planning, and academic leadership. Currently serving as Managing Principal of 1847Financial, Tomas specializes in helping clients with comprehensive financial strategies designed to protect and maximize wealth.

Academic & Leadership Background

Before dedicating his career full-time to financial advisory and wealth planning, Tomas spent years in higher education shaping the next generation of business leaders:

• Dean of the College of Business at Franklin University: Provided academic and administrative leadership, deployed new programs, managed accreditation, and directed faculty recruitment and development while continuing to teach.

• Dean of the School of Business & Professor at Mount Vernon Nazarene University: Oversaw school administration, curriculum quality, and faculty management while actively teaching across programs.

Personal & Community Commitment

Deeply driven by a mission to be a transformational force in his community, Tomas has spent decades involved in youth ministry and student leadership at his church. He has been married to his best friend, Nancy, for over 36 years, and together they enjoy spending weekends with their two grown children and their grandchildren.
